Unfortunately, Microsoft has stopped printing these discs as of Jan 1st 2014. We now include a restore partition on the hard drive of every computer we sell. Once implemented, the restore partition will reload Windows back to the default settings and clear all data that was stored on the hard drive. However, this will not protect you against a hard drive failure. It is always a good idea to backup your important files/documents to an external drive to prevent data loss.

These partitions hold your restore information for the restore partition. Do not delete or modify these drives! Doing so will prevent you the ability to restore the computer back to the default Windows settings. This feature becomes very beneficial if you ever get a virus and/or run into software issues.

All of our computers come with Microsoft Security Essentials pre-installed. This is a free anti-virus suite from Microsoft. If you prefer a different security program then make sure you uninstall Microsoft Security Essentials before installing another anti-virus. If you have two antivirus programs installed and/or running at the same time they will conflict with one another and could potentially harm your Windows installation.

All of our machines are loaded with Windows 10 Service Pack One. However, Windows will need to install all of the updates since the Service Pack One release. There are five or six sets of updates that will run until the computer is up to date. The first set will typically be 100+ updates and take an hour or two depending on your internet speed. The other sets of updates are much smaller. After the software is completely up to date, you will only receive updates as Microsoft releases them, and this is typically once a month. Never turn your machine off in the middle of installing updates! This will corrupt your Windows installation.

We want our customers to have new keyboards and mice, however the manufacturer of the accessories could differ from the computer itself. As for the monitors, Refurb Ninja utilizes several different brands, such as Dell, HP, Samsung, Acer, NEC, etc. We receive our monitor inventory in bulk and the brands tend to differ with each shipment. However, any brand of monitor will work just fine with any brand of computer. Mismatched items will not negatively affect the computer's performance in any way. CSS Cleaner is a brilliant free online tool to take care of your dirty markup.

Warranty Policy

We offer a 30-day parts and labor warranty from the original date of shipment. You may return your item(s) for any reason within 14 days of initial delivery. However, a 15% restocking fee will apply for any items returned for anything other than damaged or determined defective by our technical support staff.

The warranty by Refurb Ninja will provide Technical Support at no additional charge to you and guarantees that this item will not be DOA. If by chance you receive your item and there is a problem, we will work diligently to correct the problem. If it is necessary to be returned for repair/replacement, we will repair or replace the item and ship it back to you. Technical Support is limited to original hardware and equipment operating system software installed by Refurb Ninja. This warranty covers the computer's hardware against functional defects that are not covered by the original manufacturer. It does not cover any special needs you might have such as peripheral and/or software installation assistance. It also does not cover software issues, neglect, or unauthorized repair. UNAUTHORIZED REPAIR ATTEMPTS WILL VOID ANY AND ALL WARRANTY.

The warranty extends only to you, the original Purchaser, and is not transferable. This Warranty is valid only within the 48 contiguous United States. Data recovery is not included under this Warranty, and Refurb Ninja is not responsible for data that may be lost or damaged during transit or repair.

Obtaining Warranty Serice

To obtain warranty technical service from Refurb Ninja, you must first call our Customer Service Department 1-855-252-4784, Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM Eastern Time. If your problem cannot be resolved by our technician, we might arrange to receive your item back from you for repair or replacement. We will then issue a "Return Merchandise Authorization" number which is required on any return. This number should also be visible on the returned package. All returned products must have an "RMA" number and should be shipped to:

Once we receive your item, we will assess the problem and repair any hardware issues and then return the item to you. If we determine that it is not a hardware issue, you will be contacted with a new price/charge for the repair of the item. If you decide against the repair, you will be charged for a shipping label to return the item.

Warranty and Technical Service DO NOT include:

Repair and/or replacement of Computer Products or Components damaged by accident, abuse, modification or attempted repairs by anyone other than Refurb Ninja, unsuitable physical or operating environments, improper maintenance, intentional misuse of products, tampering or removal of Refurb Ninja serial numbers or certification stickers, failures caused by a product for which Refurb Ninja is not responsible, as well as acts of God including but not limited to floods, lightning, earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes.

Warranty also excludes installation issues with products purchased elsewhere. Warranty does not cover any software issues or unauthorized repairs/upgrades. Swapping internal components in computer systems will void the warranty, unless specifically instructed by our technicians.

This Warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied. Refurb Ninja specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Refurb Ninja's responsibility for malfunctions and defects in hardware and accessories is limited to repair or replacement as set forth above. Refurb Ninja is not responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to lost profits, downtime, goodwill, damage to or replacement of equipment and property, any costs of recovering, reprogramming, or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with Refurb Ninja products, and any failure to maintain the confidentiality of data stored on the product. Refurb Ninja specifically does not represent that it will be able to repair any product under this warranty or make a product exchange without risk to or loss of programs or data.

Return & Exchange Policy

You may return your items for any reason within 14 days of initial delivery.

Special/custom order cannot be returned. Special/custom orders cancelled later than 24 hours after purchase are subject up to a 15% cancellation fee.

Exchanges are only available for 14 days from receipt, unless as otherwise determined by our technical staff.

Customer must report any visible damage within 14 days of receipt to be eligible for a refund or exchange based upon such visible damage. If delivered items with visible damage are not reported within this time frame, you cannot obtain a refund or exchange because of the visible damage.

All returned items must be approved by our service department before they are shipped back. You will be provided with a “Return Merchandise Authorization” (RMA) form to include with the package(s) via email.

Please use original packaging if possible. If the item is not packaged securely, and upon delivery is found to be damaged as a result, no refund will be issued.

Original shipping costs are not refundable.

RMAs are processed within 2 business days of delivery at our facility. Once your RMA has been processed, you can expect a refund or exchange shipment to be arranged within 3 business days. It could take an additional 3-5 days for funds to appear back in your account due to the varying processing time of different banks. If item is returned without a valid RMA number, we will be unable to process a return, exchange or refund.
